A gorgeous cloisonné enamel necklace with hand engraved silver under the enamel. There are fish swimming over vibrantly coloured corals with a deep blue turquoise sea. Small silver bubbles add to the sparkle. The enamel has a beautiful tactile surface inviting touch. The necklace is strung with carnelian and Smokey quartz beads which really highlight the design. It is part of a series of pieces I made where I wanted to inspire conversation about the threat to our coral reefs and the oceans through the effects of climate change and pollution. By talking about it and raising awareness we can be part of the movement for change. This necklace thus follows the long tradition of jewellery being worn with messages and protest.

The pendant itself measures approximately 45x34 mm and the necklace measures 49cm. This can be varied if required. 

This is a unique and special piece that is designed to be worn today and to be an heirloom of the future. It carries a hallmark from the London Assay Office.
